Founded in 1954, Bishop Gorman High School is the only Catholic college preparatory school in Southern Nevada. In addition to its emphasis on Catholic values and service, Bishop Gorman also has a nationally ranked athletics program and offers 25 different co-curricular clubs and organizations. In 2007, Bishop Gorman moved to its new 36-acre Summerlin campus which houses a 5,500-square-foot alumni memorial chapel; state-of-the-art biology, chemistry and physics labs; learning centers; a college style lecture hall; a performing arts theatre; and five athletic fields, tennis courts and two gymnasiums.

Our Catholic Diocesan High School offers quality, college-preparatory education in a climate of learning that stresses Gospel, as well as intellectual values. If you are an 8th grade student and are interested in belonging to the Bishop Gorman High School community for the 2010-2011 school year, be sure to take the Placement Exam on Saturday, January 9, 2010. (No pre-registration required.) Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. in the Gym and the test will begin at 8:30 a.m., finishing at 11:30 a.m. There is a $50.00 application fee that is due when you take the exam.
