The After School Program Staff coordinates to provide academic support and recreation activities for children after school dismissal. Assist the Principal in the administration and supervision of the school in those areas delegated by the Principal.
Make all decisions necessary to operate the school in the absence of the Principal.

Conducts classroom observations, supports teachers, and provides input pertaining to evaluations for faculty members and support staff
Supports the Principal in the administration of the school’s discipline policies and procedures
Responsible for the preparation of all annual WCEA Reports (in collaboration with faculty): (School Profile, Data Analysis Templates, Annual Progress Reports, Catholic Identity, and In- depth Studies)
Serves as the school’s Self Study Chair for WCEA Accreditation
Reviews all lesson plans weekly to ensure they have been prepared in accordance with School and Diocesan policies
Reviews all grade books weekly to ensure both Summative and Formative assessments are recorded in a timely manner and in accordance with School and Diocesan policies
Oversees the administration of annual Terra Nova testing
Conducts weekly grade-level PLC meetings with teachers

The Assistant Principal shall have or be working toward Catechist certification, as required by the Diocese of Las Vegas. Serves on the Student Admissions Committee

Oversees lunch and recess supervision duties
Serves as a member of the school’s Student Support Team (SST)
